Webinar: Collaborative Social Innovation and Systems Change

Thursday, May 23, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST

During our time together, our team members Maren Maier (Germany) and Russ Gaskin (US) will lead a dialogue about Collaborative Social Innovation and Systems Change. This opportunity is part of Ashoka's ongoing exploration of topics related to New Leadership and New Ways of Organizing. We are honored by the invitation to engage in these meaningful and thought provoking conversations.

The webinar is open to anyone. Please feel free to pass the information along to any colleagues – in your workplace or at other institutions – who might find this webinar beneficial.

Our dialogue will include learning about our impact as changemakers through CoCreative Consulting and the development and evolution of “Collaborative Impact” as a collaborative system change framework and methodology.   Our Collaborative Impact approach proposes an integral vision that includes several models and engages people from the cognitive, emotional and action-oriented perspectives.

We will also engage in questions such as:

  • What’s the difference between a change system and the target system we seek to change?

  • What do single systems change methods leave out?

  • What is the role of social entrepreneurs in systems change?

  • What are key elements of collaborative leadership for systems change?

  • What are the four "essential ingredients" in multi-stakeholder collaborations and change teams?

Bring your questions and systems change experience and join us for what we expect will be a generative dialogue with some practical tools for your own work.
